Do you find yourself constantly rummaging through others’ feeds wondering what their secret is to creating their outfit?
Have you ever felt like your clothing isn’t standing out in the crowd no matter how hard you try, but you know there must be a way to punch through the noise and feel confident in your own skin?
Do you feel discouraged after spending hundreds, maybe even thousands, on clothing, accessories, and paid style guides only to feel like nothing quite works?
Which is why decided to let Patricia Field style me! I kept finding pieces that weren’t my size, so I thought—why not share what I find? My weekly emails are more than just a collection of links to shop Sex and the City outfits. It’s a little slice of inspiration that:
Sign up and join me in celebrating the timeless style and spirit of Carrie and her friends!
Three years ago, I started Finding Carrie’s Closet. At the time, I had just had my first child. I was home, exhausted, and struggling to feel good about my changing body after pregnancy. I wanted to create a wardrobe that would last a lifetime—something effortless, like a uniform, so I wouldn’t have to overthink putting outfits together.
One thing I’ve learned: once you’ve experienced the magic of an outfit curated by Patricia Field, there’s no going back. The moment I put on a full outfit from Sex and the City, I felt incredible—confident, empowered, and stylish. That feeling was priceless.
As I searched for other iconic outfits, I noticed there wasn’t a single resource that showcased all the brands from the show in one place. That’s when the idea for Finding Carrie’s Closet was born. I launched an Instagram account and created this weekly email to share those unforgettable looks and help others recreate them as well.
Today, I run Finding Carrie’s Closet as a one-woman show while being a stay-at-home mom. I’m passionate about connecting with others who love fashion as much as I do. Feel free to reach out—I hope my page inspires you to discover your own “Carrie” moments. Let’s embrace confidence, style, and individuality together.
