Three years ago, I started Finding Carrie’s Closet. At the time, I had just had my first child. I was home, exhausted, and struggling to feel good about my changing body after pregnancy. I wanted to create a wardrobe that would last a lifetime—something effortless, like a uniform, so I wouldn’t have to overthink putting outfits together.
One thing I’ve learned: once you’ve experienced the magic of an outfit curated by Patricia Field, there’s no going back. The moment I put on a full outfit from Sex and the City, I felt incredible—confident, empowered, and stylish. That feeling was priceless.
As I searched for other iconic outfits, I noticed there wasn’t a single resource that showcased all the brands from the show in one place. That’s when the idea for Finding Carrie’s Closet was born. I launched an Instagram account and created this weekly email to share those unforgettable looks and help others recreate them as well.
Today, I run Finding Carrie’s Closet as a one-woman show while being a stay-at-home mom. I’m passionate about connecting with others who love fashion as much as I do.
